1) Mridar shring (Plumbi oxidum)
As per Ayurvedic practice, it helps relieve skin itching by countering responsible infections and allergens.
2) Shuddh Tankan (Boric acid)
Since ages Boric acid is traditionally used as an antiseptic for minor burns or cuts and is sometimes used in dressings or salves. As an antibacterial compound, boric acid is also used as an acne treatment.
3) Shuddh Gandhak (Purified Sulphur)
It is very well known for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Various sulphur preparations are being employed as a treatment of scabies in many parts of the worlds.
4) Jasat fula (Zinc oxide)
Topical zinc stimulates ulcer healing by enhancing re-epithelialization, decreasing inflammation and bacterial growth.
5) Haridra (Curcuma longa)
It is highly reputed as anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and wound healing agent. It has shown strong anti-inflammatory action by inhibiting number of molecules such as TNF-α, IL-1, IL-6 that play role in producing inflammation.
