Rudanti Capsule

Rudanti Capsule

Rudanti – A natural companion in the fight against TB

Rudanti Capsule is a scientifically supported Ayurvedic formulation designed as a safe and effective natural adjuvant in the management of Tuberculosis (TB). It works by enhancing the body’s innate immune defense against Mycobacterium tuberculosis while protecting vital organs from the toxic effects of prolonged anti-Koch’s therapy (AKT).
Formulated with proven anti-tubercular and hepatoprotective herbs, Rudanti Capsule exhibits tuberculostatic activity, helping inhibit the growth of TB bacteria without causing adverse effects. Simultaneously, its strong antioxidant and liver-protective properties help safeguard the liver and kidneys from drug-induced toxicity commonly associated with conventional anti-TB regimens.
Rudanti Capsule is widely preferred as a supportive therapy alongside standard anti-TB drugs, improving tolerance, compliance, and overall quality of life in TB patients, including those with MDR-TB.

Know the Key Ingredients:

1) Rudanti (Caparis mooni)

Rudanti is the principal herb in the formulation and is well documented for its anti-tubercular activity. In in-vitro studies, Rudanti has demonstrated significant tuberculostatic action, effectively inhibiting the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In in-vivo studies, the fruits, flowers, and bark of Rudanti showed strong anti-TB potential without producing adverse effects. It strengthens immune response and acts as the core natural defense against TB infection.

2) Haridra (Curcuma longa)

Haridra is a renowned Ayurvedic herb with broad-spectrum antimicrobial, antioxidant, and hepatoprotective properties. Its essential oil has demonstrated activity comparable to standard antibiotics against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Clinically, Haridra has shown significant benefit in TB patients receiving AKT by preventing drug-induced hepatotoxicity caused by Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide, and Ethambutol. It protects the liver, reduces oxidative stress, and improves treatment tolerance.
